(Click to Make Bigger) Community is one of the best shows on TV, period. It’s also the only show so completely obsessed with and observant of our culture that while watching it I can’t help but feel giddy to be alive and participating in the zeitgeist at this moment in time. Illustrated by artist Chris Schweizer, this cartoon depicts Community’s “protagonist” Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) as Iron Man and his quirky cohorts as other members of “The Avengers.” On a micro level, Community revolves around the dysfunctional relationships between a study group at a community college. It’s full of hyper-meta pop culture (and self) references and often ventures into gag episodes, like this month’s stop-motion animated Christmas special. If you haven’t checked it out, do so immediately. I can’t recommend it enough. [Chris Schweizer via Slash Film] How WikiLeaks Stole Christmas

Google’s Zeitgeist 2010: Year in Review gets extra points for using my favorite word in the English any language ever in its title. But besides vocabulary excellence, this video is simply just a cool, nicely edited reminder of what went down in 2010. In terms of straight search, the fastest rising terms of the year were Chatroullete, iPad, Justin Bieber &Â Nicki Minaj, while the fastest falling were Swine Flu, WaMu and New Moon. More stats can be found on Google’s press page. [Via NY Times] Accepting (or Not) Your Parents’ Friend Request on Facebook

[Via Dangerous Minds] For all you fellow typophiles out there, Web Designer Depot put together a great list of the fonts used by popular TV shows. The fonts for the shows above are as follows: Mad Men = Swiss 721 Heavy, Dexter = Soda Script Bold, LOST = Impact, Seinfeld = ITC Fenice Oblique, Weeds = Centurion, How I Met Your Mother = FF Dax, Modern Family = Helvetica 35 Thin and Didot Roman, The Office = ITC American Typewriter, and House = Futura Futuris Medium. You know, just in case it ever comes up in a game of Trivial Pursuit. Check out the whole list here. The Angry Birds Question Their Attack Strategy
