Muppets with People Eyes, a new single-subject Tumblr by Wonder-Tonic, is delightfully creepy. No Cookie Monster yet, though. Check out a few more after the jump. *Update: COOKIE MONSTER! $100 Wallet – New in the Store on Jailbreakcollective.com

With the Hundred Dollar Wallet, it’s what’s on the outside that counts. If you’ve always felt like a rockstar but have never quite gotten the treatment you deserve, the Hundred Dollar Wallet is the answer to your problems. Just pull it out of your pocket and watch as people line up to offer to carry your luggage, seat you at the best table in the house, or tilt your coffee cup to your lips when you’re ready for a sip. Before buying the Hundred Dollar Wallet, you must ask yourself this one simple question: Are you the kind of guy who carries a boring old leather wallet or are you a jetsetting international playboy who parties with supermodels on his yacht every summer in the Greek islands? $100 Wallet for only $12.99?! That’s like free money… Stay Puft Ski Mask

The Brooklyn “New Yorkers”

The New Jersey Nets are imminently moving to Brooklyn, with their stadium being built just about ten blocks from Jailbreak headquarters. While we pride ourselves on being longtime Knicks fans, it’s damned exciting that a professional sports team will be just around the corner in two short years. Yahoo! reported that the team is considering changing their name to … the Brooklyn New Yorkers!? Ugh. We’re collectively more creative and inspired than that, right? Let’s hope Jay-Z and the Russian dude get their act together before making this official. In the meantime, Tauntr.com has “gotten its hands on” some mock-up art showing what the New Yorkers’ potential logo and mascot would look like. Yep, they’re predictably hipsterish, complete with ironic facial hair, cigarette, PBR can, v-neck T-shirt and black framed glasses. I don’t mind the font choices and color scheme, but connoting Brooklynites and Hipsters is almost as uninspired as following in the footsteps of the Houston Texans. What do you think? Jason Freeny‘s latest anatomical venture: Stewie from Family Guy. I’ve always enjoyed spotting this crocheted bike around the Lower East Side in New York. It’s a cool bit of installation art that has the unique ability to move around the city at the artist’s whim. The artist in question is Crocheted Olek (AKA Polish-born, NYC-based Agata Olek), who just completed her latest work, the complete crocheting of Wall Street’s Charging Bull (shown above). According to HFA, the installation lasted two hours before it was taken down. I don’t know what’s more impressive: the fact that she pulled this off at all, or that it stayed in one of the most heavily-trafficked tourist areas in the city for that long. Very cool piece. (Click to Make Bigger) Community is one of the best shows on TV, period. It’s also the only show so completely obsessed with and observant of our culture that while watching it I can’t help but feel giddy to be alive and participating in the zeitgeist at this moment in time. Illustrated by artist Chris Schweizer, this cartoon depicts Community’s “protagonist” Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) as Iron Man and his quirky cohorts as other members of “The Avengers.” On a micro level, Community revolves around the dysfunctional relationships between a study group at a community college. It’s full of hyper-meta pop culture (and self) references and often ventures into gag episodes, like this month’s stop-motion animated Christmas special. If you haven’t checked it out, do so immediately. I can’t recommend it enough. [Chris Schweizer via Slash Film] Season’s Greetings From Nation Studio & Google’s Blacklist

Our friends at Nation Studio, who we just collaborated with on the Like & Dislike Stamps, have launched a deviously fun new website, Googleblackchristmas.com, that customizes holidays cards with various words from Google’s Blacklist. For the uninformed, Google’s Blacklist came about upon the release of Google Instant, and essentially exists as an internal master list of words and phrases that Instant simply won’t recognize so not to inadvertently offend the person who’s searching (read: prudes). Tom and his crew at Nation have combed the list and plugged in a number of mostly NSFW words to six different fields, which are customized using the up and down arrows on your keyboard. (My favorite feature is the “?” box that pops up next to each word, hyperlinking to either the Wikipedia or Urban Dictionary definition.) Check out a few of my creations after the jump, and click here to make your own. What if the Internet had Always Existed?
