Further confirming what (I hope) we all already know, a man named Dario D. has put together a photographic expose revealing the discrepancies between fast food advertisements and the slop we’re actually served.

After the jump check out advertised vs. real versions of the Whopper, Taco Bell’s crunchy tacos, McDonald’s Angus Deluxe and more.

0

Stoned? At a loss for amazing things to do, besides eating, playing video games or ping pong, watching funny teevee or movies, freestyle rapping with the homies, or listening to music? Fear not! High Times to the rescue!

Written by Natasha Lewin and the magazine’s editors, The “Official High Times Pot Smoker’s Activity Book” includes numerous games, recipes, suggestions, lessons (like how to give yourself dreadlocks), and nuggets of wisdom that are sure to keep the stoner in your life fully engaged until the green fury wears off.

More specifically, the 144-page, graphic-heavy guide offers coloring time, stoner crossword puzzles, a list of 10 bands that sound better whilst high, recipes for cottonmouth cocktails, information on how to host a ganja dinner party, and an entire section dedicated to “High-Ku” poetry.

After the jump check out a small sample of the book’s insides, including “A Smoker’s Jumble” and How To Make a Fortune Paper Teller. Pick up a copy for $16.95 at Hightimes.com.

Things I Need: The “Ex-Talk Show Host” Mask

1

On Monday, Conan O’Brien premiered Conan, his new (in time, but certainly not format) show on TBS, to the tune of 4.1 million viewers. The funniest segment of the evening was his conversation with sidekick Andy Richter about this “Ex-Talk Show Host” mask, which, upon discovering it existed, Conan described as the  “biggest low” of his tumultuous 2010. (I mean, right? It’s horrific.)

Thanks to the Internet, we’ve learned the mask certainly does exist and is still available to purchase here for $12.99. (Since I’m on the record as anti-Halloween, I need this thing purely to scare the bejesus out of the Chinese delivery guy.)

Check out the clip here (it won’t embed for some reason), and see a photo of the mask on display next to Leno’s and Letterman’s equally hideous counterparts after the jump.

Moustaches Make The Man

1

November has been officially re-dubbed Movember, or national grow yourself a tache month, to raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues.

For the occasion, Singapore-based advertising agency TBWA has designed a campaign, “Moustaches Make a Difference,” illustrating how people like Gandhi, Einstein, Mario, Salvador Dali and others would be perceived without their famous lip ornaments.

One notable omission from the nine-part series is Hitler, but luckily our friends at Hipster Hitler have taken care of that for us. Take a look at the rest after the jump.
