A year ago, in response to an HP student competition, two young London-based creatives, Matt Robinson and Tom Wrigglesworth, directed a short stop-motion animation called HP Invent. The result, which can be seen below, caught the attention of the HP advertising team, who then commissioned the duo to make a sequel to the their original film.

Matt emailed us yesterday with the result, Hit Print, an under two-minute pseudo-advert that answers the question, “if your printer could bring your research to life, how would it look?” The clip was shot over a week, using HP Photosmart printers to feed the paper in real time. Then they sped up the footage until the pages began to animate. Check it out!
