

Google, Firefox, and to a lesser extent Twitter, have become essential tools of our daily lives. They are now such trendy parts of popular culture that a UK-based artist, David Reese, has taken it upon himself to immortalize their signature colors and logos on Nike hi-top sneakers. Apologies to Bing, Safari and MySpace: you didn’t make the cut.
The images shown above are digital mock-ups, however, as a testament to the artist’s fine work, the finished products don’t differ too much from their concept shots. Reese, 22, who goes by the moniker Brass Monki, offers a number of different hand-painted designs, most of which cater to gamers, geeks and pop culture aficionados (check out the Lego and Space Invader ones below).
