I was previously unaware that the term “Captcha” refers to the annoying daily process of having to prove you’re a human being by typing in a series of barely-legible numbers and letters when you sign up for something. Now they’ve even started asking us to add. Sure it’s remedial stuff like “1+0 equals what,” but as someone who is awful at math, I’m quite distressed at the proposition of having to do such a thing before commenting on a story. What if it at some point becomes more complex and elitist. Like only the people who know the square root of 750 or the numerical value of Pi are allowed to participate. It’s bullshit. I call for change!

All rants aside, the purpose of this post is to share the invention of this “Dream Captcha.” It was conceived by a man named Jeffery Augustine who–not unlike myself–spends an obscene amount of time online. Think about the irony here. The Dream Catcher belongs to the Native Americans who use it to capture negative energy and evil spirits during sleep.
