I guess some fellas feel threatened by a guy with a big knife, its understandable, in a culture where the measure of a man is equated with the length of his …..flatscreen. It may be upsetting to see some man whip out a massive piece of leather and carve Muhammad Ali punching the cr@p out of somebody with a 12inch hunting blade.

What would these feminized,metro-sexual bpa men tweet about this? They might freak out and call 911 terrified of what this guy can draw with a machine gun and granite!

Its kinda cute that the artist responds, just when the trolls thought it was safe to go shave their chest hair.

I really appreciate that you took the time to comment. While I understand where you're coming from, I still think you need to ditch the persona. It comes across as illegitimate and far-fetched. Just be yourself, man. Your work is unique and worthwhile, and you don't need anything more than that.

Do a timelapse, showing that it's all real, and you're set. Send it to me and I'll gladly post it.

Very interesting reading all your posts. Brightened my evening.

I've been brought up and schooled in part by the “Old English Imperial Art Thinking” where you're value as an artist is graciously bestowed by the likes of The Royal Academy. And unless the 'powers that be' give you their stamp of approval, or the right collectors / galleries / auction houses validate your work, you're a no-one in those circles.

I was so frustrated with constantly coming up against all that stiff, hierarchical nonsense, I just wanted to spin an equally bullshit tale, so farfetched it was obviously bollox, and thus detach myself from it, and just let the work be seen. My agent says I need to show the knives more, cos no-one will believe the pieces are hand carved

I'm hoping to have an exhibition in NY this year, but if anyone is ever in London please email me from the link on my website and I'll put the kettle on.

You're right, most of the pieces shown online are etchings inspired by photos. This is largely due to the fact that clients have commissioned me to do just that. But keep watching. There's A LOT MORE coming.

My mate at MTV keeps telling me I need a video of me at work, showing the creation of a piece but who's gonna sit and watch it? My pieces take months to complete. That'd be some serious time lapse photography. Maybe I need to though.
