We are very pleased to announce that our collaboration with wonderful and talented map-cut artist, Karen O’Leary, has resulted in this amazing Manhattan Barcode Map, which has just been made available to purchase as a limited edition print. Using a variety of black ink pens–ranging from 0.25 mm, 0.30 mm, 0.35 mm, 0.45 mm, and 0.50 mm–the map of Manhattan was first hand-drawn in thousands of tiny lines. Next, thin slices were eliminated and a barcode was exposed. Besides being an intricate component of the Jailbreak logo, the barcode is an essential, yet often unnoticed, part of our daily lives, and we wanted to show it some love.
The print measures 22″ x 30,” and is printed on 36 lb. white matte paper. We’ve limited the first run to an edition of 150 signed and numbered prints. It can be purchased here for $30.00 (+S&H). The original version is also available for sale. It costs $350.00, and can be seen by clicking here.
