A couple days back, Arrested Motion posted a story about their visit to Modern Multiples, just as the LA-based studio was in the process of printing the latest offering from UK street artist, D*Face. But the print (shown above, photo credit to AM) didn’t have a release date–until now.

Tomorrow at 12 p.m. EST, the “Riot” edition on paper will be released here, through Jetset Graffiti. It’s limited to 60 total prints; 50 regular edition ($500.00) and 10 hand-aged edition ($750.00).  Each measures 24″ x 32,” and is printed on 320gsm Coventry archival rag paper.

Also, as an added bonus I’ve included a new time-lapse of D*Face painting the “Ridiculous Pool” in San Bernardino, CA. It’s directed by my buddy, Tom Blachford, who sent over the video this morning.

D*Face paints the “Ridiculous Pool ” at pro surfer, Peter King’s house in San Bernardino, CA.

“Peter and legendary skater Steve ‘Salba’ Alba discovered this pool, as they have with many, in the back yard of a vacant house in San Bernardino; hit hard by the economic downturn and subprime mortgage fiasco, San Bern or BadLands has left many properties vacant, like many downsides there’s an up to those who are searching… this area has the most amount of pools built in the 50′s… which unlike most pools built today are beautifully curved and shaped, offering up dream like transitions to those committed, pool hunting, backyard jumping skaters.

“This particular pool got christened the ‘Ridiculous Pool’ as its transitions and shape are God given. The pool remained empty and secretly skated for a few years until the property was put up for sale, fearing it would be brought by one of the property developer vultures circling overhead, which would have seen the pool turned back into it’s intended use, Peter stepped in and brought the property, pool and all, the rest is history … I was asked if I’d like to paint it… I didn’t need asking twice.” -D*Face
