The Jailbreak’s 25 Days of a New York City Christmas — Dec. 4, 2009

Fall is hands down the best season to live in New York City (with apologies, and a runner’s up cookie to Spring). But as it ends, and winter rears it’s frosty face, there’s little to remind us of a time passed. Well, now you can live vicariously through these fall-colored (and themed) prints of paintings by Portland, Oregon-based artist, Matte Stephens. There’s something very youthful and inviting about Stephens’ work, like it could as easily hang in your kid’s bedroom (I don’t have a kid, so maybe you wouldn’t put this in her room; I have no idea) as in the living room. Central Park (shown above) is limited to an edition of 100 signed and numbered copies. It measures 13″ x 19,” and is available to purchase here for $60.00.
