Today’s NYC-themed gift is perfect for the writer and/or jet-setter in the family. And luckily for you, those two traits belong–more often than not–to a similar type of person. Inspired by the art of travel, Pittsburgh-based design studio, Jet Set Paper, takes classic Moleskine notebooks and stamps them with airport codes from major cities around the world. The journals range from Tokyo’s Narito International to Paris’s Charles de Gaulle to New York City’s JFK (pictured) and LaGuardia international airports. They also produce area-code stationary, which could prove handy when needing to surprise mom and dad with an unannounced move to the Big Apple.
Oh, and they’re cheap! Click through for specs, tons of pics and purchasing information.
Each journal is a standard, 64 lined-page Moleskine Cahier, hand-printed with the airport codes. They cost $8.50 apiece, and come with four area-code stationary notes. A link to purchase can be found below.
The stationary is gocco-printed and features a telephone image above vintage telegraph numbers. A set of six costs $7.50. Purchasing info below.
