Buttons and Pins on a Wall — Ran Hwang’s ‘Dreaming of Joy’

In artist Ran Hwang‘s meticulous installation, Dreaming of Joy, she sticks pins through buttons thousands of times, and then organizes them into the shape of a massive red bird on a wall. However, the work is only completed after the bird is surrounded, naturally, by a cage. Calling bullshit? Click through to check it out. [Via MMM]
