Pardon the slang, but Google has gone awfully street with its banners the last two days. Sesame Street that is. To celebrate the show’s 40th anniversary, Google graced its site with both Big Bird and Cookie Monster mastheads. For the love of god, give us Bert and Ernie next. But it’s going to be Elmo, isn’t it? It would be Elmo. [Mashable] *Update: Google listened and they have Bert and Ernie up right now. Check it out on the other side.
