Exclusively from Yahoo! comes this hot-off-the-presses trailer for James Cameron’s highly anticipated new sci-fi (or is it syfy, now?) flick,  Avatar.

People are saying it will change the way movies are made and watched, and this trailer seems to confirm those lofty expectations.

Avatar stars Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Zoe Saldana and Giovanni Ribisi, and arrives in theaters on December 18th, 2009.
