Artists Ben Turnbull’s, “I Don’t Like Mondays” exhibit has just premiered at Eleven Fine Art in London. His work stems from a fascination with the global dominance of American culture, and features these intricate gun carvings in the top of desks. Furthermore, “his works’ unsettling effects result from re-presenting the toys of our innocent youth in symbolic forms that reveal the shocking truths about war, death and guns in the world’s most powerful country.” The exhibit runs through November 7, 2009.
