Watching this video for, “The Magic” by L.A.-based band Hecuba is nothing short of a strange experience.

Urb Magazine said this about them: “One of L.A.’s most-hotly tipped acts, Hecuba, are set to break-out in 2009 with their phenomenal debut LP Paradise which seamlessly embraces avant-pop, classical/electronic minimalism, and club/dance music transforming it into something captivating, beautiful, and otherworldly strange.”

The concept is crazy in a really good, fresh way. Enjoy it.

    Living in LA it totally reminds me of certain art concepts that run in the area. They mixed them well in my opinion! Personally I could do without the “Cher” like vocals and “I dont wanna be your monkey” lyrics.
