Swiss photographer Francois Robert is known (among other things) for his book, “Faces,” in which he sought out the accidental existence of human aspects in inanimate objects. Now, his iconic work has been transformed into a rug by FLOR, a design-inspired carpet company based outside of Chicago.

The Find a Face rug exemplifies Robert’s “ability to see a soul in everything, [which] encourages us to look at the world in a new way.”

know that not all carpet cleaning machines have the same quality. There are
some that still leave residues that causes more soil buildup. In effect, this
defeats the purpose of cleaning the carpet.
