Set to the song, “All My Friends” by LCD Soundsystem, This is Japan!, a captivating seven-minute montage by Eric Testroete, has the common thread of all successful examples of this genre: it makes the viewer feel like they physically participated in every moment of the director’s journey.
Nearly 2,800 photographs were used in this film.
