Call it selling out if you want, but these Macbook and iphone skins Alex Pardee created for Apple are vicious. Known as Holy Matrimony and The Backpack, these works (first two) were made for a company named Gelaskins, who sell products designed to protect and decorate computer, phone and video game equipment. They promise “protection with style, not bulk” and have collaborated with everyone from Ron English (second two) to DAIM and MARS-1.
While Pardee’s creations exhibit his trademark in-your-face style of art, the Ron English Abraham Obama prints are more subdued and stylish.
