I know, I know, Shepard Fairey’s (and Kenny Scharf’s) design of Lance Armstrong’s bike/helmet for the Giro d’Italia is old news, but man these are cool. This picture shows the bike in action over the weekend, where Lance maintained a top five position in the standings. He lost today’s race by 15 seconds and is now sixth overall. Is it the bike? Or is Lance just washed up? Thoughts?

Lance washed up? Don’t think so. He’s coming off a broken collarbone and is racing in support of his teammate Levi Leipheimer. The fact that he can even get on a bike right now is pretty amazing.

I’ve always thought Lance was a great racer and teammate…he’s making a comeback and I think asking the question if he’s washed up or not is relevant. who knows what will happen…if he wins another tour de france then i’ll bite my tongue
