At first, the production values on this video led me to believe that it was going to be a joke but I watched on and….um… wow. This one is truly bizarre. I don’t want to give away the secret but I can tell you this. The subliminal image appears right at the beginning, along with the Fox logo. Hell, I can even tell you where it is because there’s no way you’re going to see it, given how quickly it passes by. Keep your eyes on the top right corner.
In spite of the title of this post, the thousand-plus word article that accompanies this illustration on The Rolling Stone website is more than worth reading. RS, if you don’t already know it, is responsible for some of the best, clear-headed intelligent political reporting and commentary left in America…. which, if you think about it, is a pretty unbelievable commentary on the recent history of American journalism. By the way, I have to take this opportunity to claim some props for Jailbreak Toys. It was six months ago when we decided to throw our lot in with Obama and make the action figure. We never hedged our bets with a Hillary prototype waiting in the wings. In fact we endured much scorn and speculation at all of this year’s toy and gift shows for our “wrong-headedness” and our “short-sightedness”, etc… Well, right about now, Barack has us feeling mighty proud.
